Adopt a Pet!

These may be seconds, but they
are not irregulars.  Save a life & adopt an animal at PAWS

PAWS has begun a new program called "PAWS For A Cause"!!

Spring 2011

Hi! I’m Podo, I am one of the many dogs here at PAWS waiting for my new forever family to come fall in love with me. I have to tell you that the hours spent alone here are so lonely. The staff is great and they spend as much one on one time with us as possible but they have between 250-300 other animals here to care for each day. Just feeding us, making sure our accommodations are clean, giving us medications and/or flea and heartworm preventative, washing our laundry and dishes, keeps them really busy.

I was wondering what you would think about helping me out!? How does spending just a few hours of that spare time you probably really don’t have making a difference in the life of a homeless animal? If you could spare a few hours a week to spend with me, I would be so appreciative. You could come by a few times each week and take me for a walk. Maybe you could bring a snack for lunch and sit with me in our garden area, I bet it would be a little relaxing for you too! Once I got to know you, I would wait anxiously to see your smiling face walking down the aisle of adoptions! I’d know immediately you were there to see me, that you had taken the time from your busy schedule to “make my day”! I love to go for walks and I would absolutely love the feel of your hand stroking me and your voice softly chatting to me! Not to be pushy, but some tasty treats would be great too! That 30 minutes would mean the world to me! Won’t you please consider donating some time out of your busy schedule each week to make me feel special and loved? If you have the time available you could even take me to adoption events.

Please consider “PAWSing for a Cause”!

You can e-mail my friend Tricia at triciabryant@embarqmail.com if you’re interested in participating in this great program.

Thanks!
Podo

P.S. I’d even invite you to meet my new family when I get adopted!!!
