The W.F. Thorne Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic was established to assist us in reducing the number of stray animals in the community, to assist individuals in the community who could not pay for regular veterinary services, and to provide professional veterinary care for the animals housed in our shelter. 

The Clinic is now in its 13th year and has been an enormous success. Since the opening in January 1995, the clinic has sterilized over 36,000 animals.
